Staff are benefitting from a new training investment programme introduced by thriving Staffordshire house builder Cameron Homes this year.
The Chasetown-based company, which builds housing developments throughout the Midlands, announced a major commitment to staff training and career progression at its 2017 annual meeting.
The latest members of staff to see their jobs move forward are Niamh Morrissey who steps up to the position of a trainee quantity surveyor. She previously carried out after-sales and sales administration work and recently held a commercial secretarial role.
Paige Carey moves on from land and technical administrator to assistant technical coordinator and will be joining the Shrewsbury office of Cameron’s sister company Galliers Homes.
Yasmin Bagria transfers from accounts assistant into the new role of technical/ commercial trainee and both she, Paige and Niamh are now all undertaking a two year HNC course in construction and the built environment at Walsall College on a part time basis.
Accounts assistants Heather Barber and Natalie Reynolds have been enrolled on three-year courses at Walsall College which will see them reach level 4 on the Association of Accounting Technicians programme.
