A Burntwood Christmas float which raises money for charity each year has been boosted by the sponsorship of Cameron Homes.
Cameron Homes, based in Chasetown, has provided backing for the Burntwood Rotary Club initiative.
The club drives the vehicle around the town each year, giving children the chance to meet Santa and collecting money at the same time for good causes.
“We were happy to hand over a £200 cheque to sponsor the Christmas float as we know it is a popular annual attraction in Burntwood,” commented Danielle Goffe-Wood of Cameron Homes, which builds a range of housing developments in the area.
Tony Spencer of Burntwood Rotary Club said: “We are very grateful to Cameron for their generous donation which has enabled us to ensure the Santa float is brightly lit and newly decorated.
“The vehicle will again bring joy and happiness to many children and parents during the festive period.
“The programme this year is packed with tours of housing estates, supermarkets, festival events and our own Tree of Light switch on at Swan Island.
“And importantly we use these opportunities to collect funds for worthwhile charities in the Burntwood area.”
