Cameron Homes has launched a team to oversee growth in Warwickshire, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Oxfordshire.
Initially a total of 18 jobs have been created at the new base at Cygnet Court, Stratford upon Avon, which has just been officially opened.
“We are very excited by the formation of our new ‘South’ division,” said Ian Burns, chief executive of Staffordshire-based Cameron Homes, a family-owned company which is celebrating 25 years in business in 2019.
“Cameron has built up a reputation as a provider of high quality family homes and excellent customer service and we are delighted to be rolling this out in the region.”
Richard Doffman, who has been recruited to lead the venture, said that this was an exciting time to be a part of Cameron Homes.
“Our total investment into the region will be around £35millon which will support in excess of 400 jobs within our firm, sub contractors and suppliers.
“We will be building over 100 properties in 2018 and seeking to increase this year on year. In addition new housing gives additional revenue streams to councils via council tax and new homes bonus payments.
“Work is already well underway at two new developments, Hartwell Grange in Badsey near Evesham and Swithin’s Wood in Lower Quinton.
“Further sites will be launching soon in Hockley Heath, Tredington and Pinvin and we are looking for more land opportunities across the region as the new division grows,” he said.
Family-owned Cameron Homes builds throughout Staffordshire and the West Midlands and is set to expand further with the launch of an east Midlands division later this year, covering developments in Leicestershire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
