A number of key appointments have been made at expanding Cameron Homes.

Mark Waplington joins the business as commercial director and brings experience gained from a 30-year career working in house building, most recently with Keepmoat Homes.

Matthew Carr has been recruited as commercial manager for Cameron’s new south midlands region. He was previously employed for a decade with Barratt as group surveying manager and more recently as commercial manager at Barratt West Midlands.

Mark Adams is Cameron’s new buyer for the south midlands. He comes with over 30 years’ buying experience at Spitfire Homes, Redrow and Wimpey.

Ralph Ling, who has been employed within the building industry for over 40 years, comes on board as a quantity surveyor, having held positions as materials and sub contract buyer, assistant site manager and for the past 24 years quantity surveyor with local and national house builders.

Finally Niamh Morrissey steps up to the position of a trainee quantity surveyor. She has been with Cameron full time for four years, carrying out after-sales and sales administration work and recently a commercial secretarial role. She is currently undertaking a HNC in construction.

Ian Burns, managing director of Cameron Homes, said: “We are delighted to welcome these new recruits – they add considerable strength and depth to our commercial team at this exciting time for the firm.”
