Our commitment to wellbeing

Image logo Its in our DNA, our culture, to take care of people.

We’ve also had a deep rooted sense of caring for others so we were delighted when our employees accepted the challenge and told Great Places to Work for Wellbeing what we are really like.

We were even more delighted when we were awarded the Great Places to Work for Wellbeing accolade.  It reflects our commitment to creating a positive, supportive culture throughout our business that in turn keeps us focused on  our customers, ensuring they too have a great experience when they buy from us. Ian Burns, CEO of Cameron Homes and Galliers Homes said:

“This is a fantastic achievement for our companies and reflects the commitment to creating a positive, supportive culture throughout our businesses, which in turn flows through to ensure our customers enjoy the very best services.

“The house building sector is often maligned as a challenging industry in which to work, but our ethos of investing in people and creating a work environment that supports everyone to achieve their full potential is delivering dividends, not only through awards such as this one but also in our strong commercial performance.

What are companies ranked against?

The UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing rankings comprise organisations who have succeeded in making their employees experience high levels of wellbeing in their workplace. To determine the list, culture experts analysed thousands of employee surveys, assessing their holistic experience of wellbeing at work though fundamental facts of employee wellbeing, including work-life balance, sense of fulfilment, job satisfaction, psychological safety and financial security. Evaluations also included an assessment of how well the organisation was able to deliver consistency of their employee experience across all departments and seniority levels.
