This year at Cameron Homes we're celebrating our 30th anniversary.

Cameron Homes was founded by Ian Burns in 1994, with the backing of Tara Group owner, Noel Sweeney. In 1995, we saw our first two developments, Meadow View in Doveridge and Rake End in Hill Ridware, Rugeley, being launched for sale.

Now 30 years on, we've built over 130 developments across the Midlands region, providing high quality homes for thousands of families.

How we’re celebrating

We're marking the milestone with a series of events, promotions and charitable projects and initiatives in the local communities we work in. So far this year, members of our team have taken part in an 85km walk of the Jurassic Coast led by our parent company, Tara Group, to raise money for charity, and we've worked with pupils at Kirk Langley Primary School to design anniversary cards.

In July, we hosted CAMFEST, an event for colleagues, past and present, as well as our valued suppliers and subcontractors, to say thank you for their contribution to our success.

Over the coming months, we have more planned, including additional community outreach and support.

Reflecting on our achievements

Looking back on the last 30 years, we're proud to have received awards for our high-quality homes that we've built across the region, with landmark developments including the regeneration of Cameron Wharf in Stone and Barton Marina in Burton upon Trent.

As customers' needs and lifestyles have changed over the last 30 years, we have ensured that the homes we build reflect the requirements of the modern professionals and families. And while we may have made many changes to the layouts and decorative features of our homes, and continue to source the very best materials to build them with, our passion for build quality has never changed.

Over the last few years, we've seen the demand for more conscious, sustainable homes, and in response, we developed our 'Sustainable Living' properties that offer solar panels, water-saving technology and improved insulation.

What’s coming

Fast forward to today, and we're excited to be launching new developments in multiple locations across the Midlands. We've recently announced our new sites in Hagley and Streethay and have an exciting pipeline of new developments coming soon.

Whilst we continue to evolve, our aim remains the same - to build beautifully designed, high-quality homes in sought-after locations. Find out more about our current developments here
